This page applies the Code Crafted Nexus Refund Policy to PromptSmith, and adds what is specific to a license key. The two do not conflict; if they ever seem to, the one that is better for you applies.

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if PromptSmith does not work as described, or if you are simply not satisfied.

How to ask

  1. Email support@codecraftednexusllc.com with your order number (it is on your receipt) and, if you like, a short reason. A reason helps us improve PromptSmith, but it is not required.
  2. We start the refund through Paddle, the platform that processed your payment. You can also ask Paddle directly using the link in your receipt.
  3. Refunds are issued through Paddle and typically return to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card company.

What happens to your key

When a refund of any kind is issued (full or partial), or a credit or chargeback is made, the license key for that purchase is disabled automatically, and PromptSmith stops working on your computers at its next license check, usually within hours while the app is open. The 7-day free trial does not restart on a computer that has had a license. Please uninstall PromptSmith if you no longer want it. We tell you this up front so it is no surprise.

What is not refunded

  • Requests made more than 14 days after purchase. If PromptSmith does not work as described and we cannot fix it, or you were charged in error, email us anyway and we will try to make it right.
  • Charges from the AI services you paste your prompts into (for example Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini). We do not sell or bill those.

Your rights under the consumer laws where you live are not affected.

Chargebacks

Please contact us first. We resolve requests quickly, and a chargeback also disables the key.
