This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Code Crafted Nexus LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company ("Company"), for the use of NexusView. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License grant

The Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use NexusView for your own personal or internal business use. Without a license key, the app runs as a free 7-day trial with all features; when the trial ends, viewing is disabled until a license key is entered. Upon purchase, you receive a perpetual license, with no subscription and no expiration, to activate NexusView on up to three (3) Windows or Mac computers that you own or control, with unlimited cameras. To move a license, deactivate the old computer in Settings or contact us at the email below.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy (other than for backup), modify, rent, resell, or sublicense the app.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except where applicable law permits.
  • Circumvent or tamper with the license-key mechanism, or share your license key publicly or outside your own household or organization.
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

3. License keys

License keys are personal to the purchaser. A license key that is refunded or charged back is revoked, and NexusView stops working until a valid license key is entered, at its next license check. We may also decline to honor keys that have been shared or distributed publicly.

4. Your cameras and the law — please read

NexusView displays video from cameras that you own or are authorized to view. You are solely responsible for how you use cameras and for complying with the laws that apply to video and audio surveillance where you live and where the cameras are located, including laws about recording, notice, and privacy in places such as bathrooms, bedrooms, rental units, and workplaces. Do not use NexusView to access cameras or accounts you are not authorized to use. NexusView can record the video of cameras you choose (including, by screen capture, cloud cameras shown in a viewer tile) to a folder on your own computer; you are responsible for that footage, for where it is stored, and for the laws that apply to recording. It does not detect motion or send alerts, and it is not a substitute for a professional security, alarm, or safety system; do not rely on it as one.

5. Third-party cameras and services

NexusView works with cameras and online services made by other companies (for example Reolink, Arlo, Ring and Google Nest). The Company is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for those companies or their products, and their names are used only to describe compatibility. Their products and websites can change at any time, which may affect how well they work with NexusView. Cloud camera viewers show the brand's own website, which is governed by that brand's terms.

6. Privacy

NexusView connects directly to your cameras and does not send your video or camera credentials to us. See the NexusView Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

NexusView and all related software, design, and content are the exclusive property of Code Crafted Nexus LLC. All rights not expressly granted in this EULA are reserved. The Company claims no ownership over your video or camera data.

8. One-time purchase and refunds

NexusView is sold as a one-time purchase through our website, processed by Paddle.com as our authorized reseller. There is no recurring billing. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase under our Refund Policy. When a refund is issued, the license key for that purchase is revoked.

9. Updates

The Company may release updates to NexusView. Updates are never installed without your action. Your license covers reasonable updates for the same major version.

10. Disclaimer of warranty

NexusView is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Company does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will work with every camera, network, or online service.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, property, or security events arising from your use of or inability to use NexusView. The Company's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing in this EULA limits any rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be waived.

12. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and uninstall the app.

13. Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States, subject to your non-waivable local consumer rights.
